People That Wore Birdmask?

Outlaw - a literary attempt

he hung his hat on the coat rack, he threw his briefcase with gentle force among them, took a cold beer from the fridge and sat down on the balcony. From there he watched as he did almost daily, the birds, cavorting in the trees and enjoyed to swallow sip from the cold alcohol. On that day the benefit was particularly intense, because he knew he would need to see the birds for the last time. His boring office job he had, as his bulky briefcase gently flung and had just returned for a long time from work to home. From then on he was free as a bird. The first step in his independence gave him a few months ago his wife by telling him that she wanted a divorce because they have a different, better man to know, learned to have and finally he took the second step towards independence, saying even his boss that he intended something else, something better with his life. Nothing gave him more here in this desolate area, his ideas had long arrived in the Caribbean that he knew of the holidays with his wife so well and so loved and where he planned the end of his life to live, instead of waiting.

A short time later, he is packed at the airport, full of suitcases and anticipation, but also short time later, just arrived in the Caribbean, he received a telegram, which astonished him no less because he saw no explanation for this urgent contact, But they were there.

What he was informed in the message, the reader is happy to choose, the possibilities are numerous:

His brother is sick in Switzerland and needs a kidney donation.

is his father died, and appoints him as the rightful heir of the family business.

His wife is pregnant, the child from him yet.

The motivation is not important at this point. What matters is only that his expectation was accused in the freedom to obliterate the past and he will follow their call to return to his home, back to the dependency that he has never left behind, because he is an outlaw.

This story is really my story, but they might as well be your story, so is it from here. If he neither loved nor has ever been loved, can find a sunny end of this story, but whether this would be the happy ending? Open end.
